Peripheral Anything that plugs into the computer, such as keyboard, printer etc.
PERL PERL stands for Practical Extraction and Report Language. It is sometimes used to make Web-based server side applications, and can be written in various languages including C.
Pixel All computer screen or printed images are made up of pixels, small square dots - the smaller the pixels, the higher the image quality.
PPP (Point to Point Protocol) Lets users connect to the internet over a phone line.
PPPOE (Point to Point Protocol Over Ethernet) It is like PPP except it uses an ethernet card instead of a modem to create a faster internet connection.
PS/2 Is a standard port fore mice and keyboards but more and more USB-keyboards and mice is produced today.
