O
Name Description
OCR (Optical Character Recognition) A program which attempts to convert a scanned image (ie a picture) of text into text that can be edited in a word processor. The result is rarely 100% accurate and must be carefully proofread, but can save a lot of retyping.
Overclocking Running a chip at a clock speed that's higher than its rated speed. Just as CPUs can be overclocked, so can the chips on your graphics card. You'll get higher performance but your chip can be destroyed.
