Animals became domesticated. Examples of animals first domesticated are cows, sheep and dogs. This brought about changes in the way of life of man. These animals provided a source of food, clothing, manual labour and transport. With domesticated animals, there was no longer a need to go around and hunt for wild animals to consume meat. Reared animals were more easily available and they would not have to spend a day out trying to hunt and even might end up with nothing. Thus, domestication of animals certainly ensured the probability of them having meat to eat. Sheep and goat gave milk for them to drink. People in the past used material from the natural environment to make clothing as a form of protection. These materials ranged from leaves to twigs and branches. Clothes made from these materials could not keep out much cold and serve the most basic purpose. Since domestication of animals, the skins of animals were used to make clothing and daily accessories like water bottles and shoes. Now these also improved man's way of life. The hide of animals that were made into clothes can better keep man warm in cold weathers compared to the clothes made of leaves. Shoes are tougher than before and protect one's feet from getting injured easily although they no longer used to travel long distances, but they wanted to protect themselves all the same.
Water bottles allow one to carry a certain amount of water with him at any circumstances so that when thirst comes, he would not have to wait until he finds a water source. Also, this idea arose from the fact that they can keep water and save it for a rainy day. Man also used animals in the fields to ease them of their hard work, letting strong animals till the fields. It was more efficient in this way as the animals were much stronger than man was and could do more work in less time. Horses are also used as a means of transportation and one could cover more distance in shorter time frames. All these efforts have shown that man has improved both physically - their way of life, and mentally - how they perceive things.
In short,
the Agrarian Revolution has brought about many drastic changes that had positive
effects on the way of life man used to lead. Life became much better and stable.
The Agrarian Revolution brought about the increased standards of living. However,
as time passed, the needs for survival evolved with time and as a result the
torch was passed on from the Agrarian Revolution to the Industrial Revolution.
