About Us
Inspired by the heroic adventures of Apollo 13 and countless other journeys through space, the Beyond Earth website takes students on a journey from our planet Earth to the very edge of the universe. With a comprehensive online book and a variety of activities that are highly interactive, Beyond Earth establishes an environment for students to learn, expand, and share their knowledge of space.
The Beyond Earth website has been created by Chris Brown, Douglas Bedell, and David Wu as part of the 2001 ThinkQuest Internet Challenge. In producing this website, we hope to provide students with a valuable online resource for space exploration. It has also turned out to be a very beneficial learning exprience for the three of us. We hope that our website will inspire you to learn more about the amazing world of space exploration and astronomy.
