Chapter 1: The Beginning

You are the commander of the Spectrum Space Station. Pacing the deck slowly, you stare down at the desolate planet Earth. It is year 2073 and the ozone layer of Earth was completely taken out. With the immense amount of solar radiation, the planet has became a huge desert with almost no life forms remaining. In a desperate attempt to save the world, the United States was forced to shut down the space program three years ago and devoted almost all its financial resources towards building a massive radiation shelter. Unfortunately, the program failed and the astronauts stranded on the space station was all that was left of the human race. You have promised to give the crew a report on their plan. You took a deep breath and set your gaze toward the stars. You have always dreamed of traveling off towards the stars into distant planets. Now, it may be your only hope for survival... What do you do now?

	Land on Earth and pick up remaining resources.
	Use existing resources on the space station and begin construction of an interstellar ship.
