Introducing Third Millenium Cities - About The Site
Welcome to the Third Millenium Cities webpage. We have created this site in the light of educating the public on more about the world the live in - assuming, that is, you are living in a city (and from our research we have culculated you most likely are). In this site, we hope to increase awareness of the origins of the city and our lifelines and the upcoming problems which have arisen.
The government is at an everlasting quest to solve these problems, and we too have come up with our solutions.
How To Use Our Site
As you can see,
our site is made up of mainly 2 navigation bars and one main info bar. First,
choose a topic on the left bar. It will bring up an introduction page for that
topic, and also links in the bottom bar (this one is faded in the picture).
Origin is the topic where we speak of the begginings of cities, true
cities and how in the first place the world has got to become the state it is.
Urbanisation is the topic in which you can know how urbanisation, industrialisation and the creation of such large industries and jobs affected cities and their growth.
However, this also lead to various problems, which you may find in the problems topic. This addresses the main problems of today's cities.
Our Solution for the problems and to make today's world a better place constitutes mainly that of the "Compact City".
Other future city times can be explored in the Future category.
In our site we also have a special Interactives section which enables you to learn more about cities while having fun; there, too, you may express your own views on the future of cities and what you think they'll become.
