REGULATION OF MANUFACTURE AND MARKET

Regulation of the manufacture and market of drugs is an important tool of prevention. These regulations create and control the legal market of drugs and give manufacturers a place in a legal and sure market. In this way manufacturers observe law as a whole and control each other. Also, they are interested in cooperating with the state officials and fighting against theillegal market.

There are three types of regulation.

1. First, these are the prescriptions of some substances by physicians.

2. The second one is the control over the market (like alcohol). It includes special places, where the substances are sold or taken, control of the age range of users, the time of the day, when they may be sold, etc.

3. The third type is the control of prices of the substances - including taxes and duties.
