Deliriants

Atropine, Scopolamine

One peculiarity of the traditional usage of this type of hallucinogens is that it is used as an ointment. The skin is thought to be not so permeable to such substances, but the experience gathered by the folklore pharmacology of different nations shows otherwise. Everywhere around the world, in the ointments, made from plants, containing tropanic alkaloids, there is usually some alkyl substance present – most often as. The places that are smeared with the ointment, are those with very thin and permeable skin – the neck, the temples, the forearm, the inner side of the ribs, the genitals and the anus.

At the beginning of the century  scopolamine was known as “the drug of truth”. People believed that if someone has taken it, in the next few hours he won’t be able to lie.
