Aromatherapy (Cont'd)

So how does it help to induce sleep? Simple, aromatherapy actually soothes a person, helping him or her relax and thus release tension in the body. When one is relaxed, they will find it much easier to enjoy a good rest. However, aromatherapy is not an option available to all. For example, some oils may produce side effects on pregnant women or people allergic to specific oils. It is always better to seek medical advice before performing aromatherapy on oneself. Also, some aromatherapy scents may prove repugnant to certain people; it all lies with one's personal preference. Aromatherapy is not the only solution-subjecting yourself to it by force may result in you ending up feeling more vexed than before. One should also bear in mind that stimulating your body often may not necessary be a good thing, and should only be done in moderation.
