| The
hunting, gathering and preparation of food was a regular activity
as well as teaching the children their kinship relations and
the protocols that belonged to each group member. At times when
food was plentiful, Adnyamathanha people spent their spare time
spinning hair or fur for string, treating animal skin to make
cloaks, making artefacts, collecting water, telling stories,
dancing or singing. |
The Adnyamathanha community was very social. Young people looked
after the physical needs of the older people and the older people
looked after the education of the young.
