My name is Yi Sonia Xie, 16 years old. I'm living in Memphis, Tennessee, USA now. Both of my parents are doctors. My father is a medical doctor, and my mother is a philosopher doctor, who does research work on anatomy and neurobiology. Mother’s career brought our whole family across half of the globe from China to Singapore, and to America. They are very strict with my studies and set very high expectation on me. I study in White Station High School as a sophomore. I love my school, especially the teachers who raise students with their intelligent of teaching and kindness.
Ever since I could read, manga has become part of my life. I found the most touching story, the most beautiful line art and unlimited space of imagination in those black and white comic books. It is my companion of growing and learning. It determined my personality and thought.
On spring of 2001, I discovered ThinkQuest Contest on Internet. Thinking this might be a chance of learning; I joined my-self to ThinkQuest. I and my other two manga fun team-mate hope that by creating this Website, we can introduce this amazing type of art to friends all over the world who might love it too.
