Windows CE 3.0 is a fairly new operating system. It is a real-time embedded operating system that is commonly used by small, mobile, 32-bit connected devices.


User Interface:

Windows CE sports a graphical user interface. It depends on menus, icons, and pointing devices (like mice) to give commands to the computer. By clicking on certain icons, you can open up specific programs and applications.

Its interface is also customizable. You can choose your own preferences and you can choose what you want your computer screen to look like- you can choose color schemes, fonts, etc!


Features:

Windows CE is multitasking, meaning that it can process multiple programs and applications simultaneously. This makes it possible for you to have open a word document and an Internet browser at the same time!

In addition, Windows CE also has an advanced power management system. This eliminates the need for fans because this operating system has an efficient cooling system. In addition, Windows CE also has a long battery life.

Windows CE supports a variety of communications and networking programs. It also provides easy Internet access!

Finally, Windows CE can support a variety of different multimedia devices. For instance, it includes Windows Media Technologies 4.1, which enables multiple bit-rate streaming of multimedia contents. Additionally, Windows Media Player 6.4 Control gives Windows CE a playback capability.
