Chinese Astrology

According to Chinese legend, the Chinese zodiac was created by Buddha 2500 years ago, before he departed from Earth. He invited all the animals in the world to a party, but only 12 animals turned up. To reward this 12, Buddha decided to name the years of the Chinese zodiac after them, and gave them each a year to govern. The rat, through its sneakiness, topped the list, followed by the ox, the tiger, the rabbit, the dragon, the snake, the horse, the goat, the monkey, the rooster, the dog, and finally the pig.
