We live on the crust of the
earth made of solid rock. It is a layer
with no life on it. It is called the
mantle. The mantle is split into the
outer mantle & the inner mantle. It
is 1600°F in the outer mantle &
the inner mantle is 4000°F. It looks the way it is described Underneath
the crust is the warmer magma & rock the outer mantle is the outer covering
of the inner mantle. The solid rock
core starts 1800 mi. below earth’s surface it is like the mantle with the inner
core and the outer core. The outer core
is 4000°F & the inner core is
9000°F it is mostly made of iron
& nickel.
