Here
are a few tips on understanding the interface of our website and what
the special symbols and icons represent.

Main
Menu (1)
The main menu allows you to navigate through the main sections in the
website. You can use this menu either by clicking directly onto the
buttons (for Netscape and Internet Explorer) or by dragging the foot
onto
the desired button and releasing it (for Internet Explorer).
Tools
Menu (2)
The Tool menu contains buttons that are tools with special functions.
To view the different languages in this site place the mouse over the
language button and an additional menu will appear for further selections.
Simply click on the buttons to access the Help (you are currently on
help), Sitemap, Search, Glossary and Interact Pages.

Shortcut

By placing the mouse over the heading at the top left-hand corner of
the page, a small menu will appear, listing the sub-sections for you
to access to. This facilitates navigation within the section.

Bar (4)
The Shortcut bar shows the hierachy of the page that users are in. Click
on the desired links in the bar to navigate.
Navigation
Buttons (5)
The up arrow brings you to the top of the page to access the shortcut
bar, while the right-pointing arrow brings you to the next page of the
section or sub-section that you are already in. These buttons "float"
at the bottom right hand corner of every page for easy access.
Section
Menu (6)
This menu allows you to navigate through the sub-sections in the section
that you are in.
Topics
Menu (7)
This menu shows the topics in the page that you are in. Click onto the
links to go straight to the specific information of the topic.
Media
Icons
Media icons show the type of media that are available in each page.
indicates that interactive media are available for hands-on activities,
in Shockwave Flash format (Flash 3.0 and above).
indicates that video clips are available for downloads, in .MPEG, .AVI
or .WMV format. We recommend using Windows Media Player to play all
these formats.

that sound clips are available for downloads, in .WAV format.

that text files are available for downloads, in .DOC format (Microsoft
Word 95 and above).

Icons
Link icons show the types of links that are available in each page.
