Rain Gauge

Making a simple rain gauge to record rainfall.

You will need
a) a pair of scissors,
b) a sticky tape,
c) an old plastic bottle; and
d) a scale.

Steps

1. Cut an old plastic bottle in half and turn the top upside down to make a funnel.

2. Make a scale and tape it to the side of the bottle.

3. Keep a daily record of how much rainfall you collect over several weeks or even months, and make a chart of your own findings.
