Indeed, why did we create this webpage? You must be dying to know...
TAUNT...TAUNT...
On a normal day i would have linked this to ten more pages...but i don't feel up to the task now...
Well, as you probably know, this webpage was created for the purpose of education. Yes, education. This is a Thinkquest site and is meant for the pleasure (or displeasure, whichever way you like...) of all people who happen to stumble upon this site.
What is Thinkquest? Well, it is an international organisation that holds annual webpage design competitions that are created in the interest of transmitting and multiplying information throughout the world. The best-designed and most informative website wins a cash prize. Sounds fun? Click here. Or here. Maybe here... If you want, you can click here. This word, here, is perfectly fine too...Here comes a barrage...here here here here here here here here here here here here here You can't miss it... Basically, we want to win some (quote Wheel of Fortune) "big money, big money..." (unquote)
Yes, let us continue. Another reason would be because we had to do our annual school project...and we decided on creating a Thinkquest webpage. This is not only fun, it is also a great educational experience for us.
Also, creating an educational webpage is indeed helpful, both for us, and the rest of the knowledge-forsaken world. By searching out remnants of information on the Internet, we may actually be able to compile this information taken from people who have actually bothered to do anything on the topic at all and create a webpage! This will naturally make it so much easier and interesting for a person who has been assigned to do a primary school project or a PhD thesis on this topic to complete his task and be eternally greatful to the both of us. Besides helping others, our knowledge of this information will enable us to understand the history of the world better and thus learn some lessons from mistakes of past leaders and apply them to our daily life. If any one of us becomes a history teacher in the future, we will have a basis from which we can work with. This webpage can even be recommended to his students next time.
Well, that's pretty much it...
