Hi,

Gunnar and I (Soeren) are the European part of our team. We are in 10th grade of the Mariengymnasium in Jever. Gunnar is the computer-freak, that is why he built the web-site.
And I am the historian and wrote the texts for our project. In our free time we usually use the computer, too, for games and surfing the internet. I am also a football-referee and lead the games of the younger children. This is my part-time job. Gunnar creates web-sides to get money. He also wants to become a football-referee.

Hi,

I am Gunnar and I have programmed our homepage and the games. It is made in Flash and HTML. As Soeren told you I create homepages to earn money. I do this in my spare time. If you want to see an example of a cinema homepage go to www.film-service-center-jever.de.
I think ThinkQuest is a very good idea of intercultural and international communication. In case of a project it is really great to do something on your English. You get some new friends and you do a great job on your all-round education. The project combines language and facts.
Furthermore I play the piano, fence and have an aquarium. I was not born in this area. I am from Flensburg which is in the very North of Germany (at the border to Denmark). When I am older I want to move to a southern part of Germany because of the climate and computer-market situation.

OK, that was the German part of our team. Please use the eMail-Button on the left to mail us.

StevenHi,

My name is Steven. I'm the part of the team that comes from the United States. I am 14 years old and I am a sophomore from Galesburg High School in Galesburg, Illinois. I wanted to do this site because I've never been a part of creating a website before. Admiral Nelson was and still is a fascinating person to learn about. I created the battle timeline for Trafalgar, helped obtain pictures for the site, and also proofread most of the site information. I am a member of our school's band, and I run track and crosscountry.
