Leanna
Author of Invitation to Your Madrigal Dinner
Leanna had the responsibility of writing the content for the site. She used several different writing programs and email. Email was used to collect permission statements, interviews, and organize meetings. She also used Netscape Composer when setting up the appearance of this web site's pages. On average, Leanna felt she worked 25 hours a week or more. To prepare, Leanna went to and participated in local madrigal performances. She also talked to people who had more experience with madrigals than she did.

This is Leanna's second year working on a ThinkQuest site. Last year Sarah and Leanna worked with an oversea's partner in Egypt, Nora to create the site, A Woman Called Egypt. A Woman Called Egypt is a site that teaches information about Cleopatra VII through aspects of an original play.

ThinkQuest has been a good experience for Leanna because she feels that the program allows her to explore areas she would never have a chance to explore anywhere else.

Haley
Computer Technician of Invitation to Your Madrigal Dinner
Haley had the responsibility of proof reading the site and making sure the links work correctly.  She used Netscape Composer to edit the page appearance. She also used Adobe Photoshop for scanning and adjusting images. VideoWave and RealPlayer producer were used to create the video clips. Haley's prior experiences with webpages includes a webpage design class at Galesburg High School as well as some work on some individual websites.

This is Haley's first year working on a ThinkQuest site. The experience has taught her how to work with a group for one common goal. It has also given her the chance to learn about different software, such as VideoWave, that  she would not have otherwise dealt with.  She also feels that working on ThinkQuest with a Mac has given her a greatly widened area of experience.

Sarah
Graphic Artist of Invitation to Your Madrigal Dinner

Sarah had the responsibility of making the images look as sharp and clear as possible. In order to accomplish this task, she spent countless hours using filters on Adobe PhotoShop. Sarah said she always seemed to learn something when she used Adobe PhotoShop wherever she was.

Sarah also learned a lot about madrigal dinners while working on this site. Sarah felt she didn’t really know anything about them until she started working on this site.

Sarah has also worked on the ThinkQuest site A Woman Called Egypt and taken several art classes at high school. Sarah’s favorite part about working on ThinkQuest is working with her partners.
