Page 2 While Zhimo was pursuing knowledge eagerly, a bad news came to him. His father wanted Zhimo to marry Zhang Youyi, a daughter of a rich family. Zhimo could not accept this arrangement, but he finally agreed to marry her after the persuasion of his parents and grandmother. The two married in 1915 and Zhimo's nightmare started. He did not love Zhang Youyi, who he knew nothing before. There was no happiness between the two. No sooner than they married, Zhimo went to Tianjing University to continue his education. In 1918 summer, Zhimo acknowledged Liang Qichao, a well-known Chinese writer at that time who Zhimo had admired for a long time. With the encouragement of Liang Qichao, Zhimo decided to go the U.S. to continue his education. He left for Karaka University to study history on Aug 14th, 1918. Later he shifted to Galumbia University to study economics. Gradually, he grew to detest the education system in the U.S. and in 1920, he left for British. He entered London Economic College. One of the reason Zhimo went to British was to consult Luoshu, a person known to many as a great philosopher, but he left for China just before Zhimo came. Zhimo later went to Cambridge University. By chance, Zhimo met Lin Huiyin in a London International Union and fell in love with her. Both Zhimo and Huiyin were interested in literature and they often met to discuss about literature after they first met. The two grew fonder as time went by. Huiyin admired Zhimo's knowledge. However, when the two were in love, Zhang Youyi came to Britain to find Zhimo. Zhimo was so in love with Huiyin that he request to divorce with Youyi. Youyi knew that Zhimo would never love her, so she agreed. The two divorced in Perlin in March 1922. At the same time, Huiyin left for China with her father. When Zhimo knew that, he went back to China immediately. At the end of 1922, Zhimo went back to China and began to search for Huiyin. By the time he found her, she had become the wife of Liang Sicheng, the son of Zhimo's teacher Liang Qichao. Zhimo felt desperate and experienced the hardest period of time in his life. Zhimo decided to do something for the society. He published a magazine <<Goal>>, which was a monthly magazine. The reason for publishing this magazine was to encourage the Chinese people to seek their own goal and work towards that goal. Later, he, Liang Qichao and Hu She founded the 'New Moon' party to discuss about literature.
