There are different seasons in which hurricanes can occur. The At lantic Hurrican Season lasts from 1st of June to 30th November each year. An "early" hurricane occurs in the first three months of the season, while a "late" hurricane occurs in the last three months of the season. The most active time for hurricane development historically, is mid-August through mid-October.
