What weapons are used in fencing?
Foil, epee and sabre are the three weapons used in the sport of fencing. The foil is a lightweight, flexible rectangular blade with a blunt point. The epee is a rigid blade with a blunt tip, and the sabre is a triangular blade. On our weapon pages, you can learn more about each weapon.
