Introduction
Since the dawn of mankind the sun has controlled nearly everything on
our planet. Our winds, our seas, our seasons and even life. But until
recently we have never been able to harness this energy directly for our
own use. We've been only able to gaze at the sun and watch the miracles
it produces, until the invention of solar thermal systems and photovoltaic
cells.
One of the major polluters in the world are cars, there are billions
of cars worldwide, all contributing to the destruction of our planet.
But if we could efficiently implement photovoltaic cells into our cars
we would have a new breed of self-sufficient electric cars that would
produce next to no emissions. Which in turn would solve a large part of
our pollution problems.
