Pros:

• Solar cars are extremely energy efficient
• They produce no emissions
• They are very quiet
• They require no fuel
  

Cons:

• They are totally dependant on the sun
• Their entire top surface si required for solar cells
• Powering the vehicle leaves no power for luxuries like air-conditioning
