We
are a team comprising of three
students (Sigit Adinugroho from
Indonesia, Ashutosh Mohan from
India, and Chee Juin Ching from
Malaysia) and one coach (Debangsu
Sengupta, from India) that have
worked together collaboratively
creating this site with one
learning objective: increasing
awareness about environmental
problem, focused on pollution.
The three students are
differentiated by countries,
skills, backgrounds and access
to technology.
First
and foremost the team members
would like to express their
special thanks to coach,
Debangsu Sengupta, their
parents, their teachers, and all
their friends for giving them
the supports needed.
Sigit
Adinugroho
Indonesia
Sigit (read: See-gg-eet,
clear 'g' as in 'gang') is a 16-year old chap.
When this
project started, he lived in
Malaysia, and has been there for
4 years. During the meantime he
moved to Indonesia and finish
the rest of the site there.
Computer and IT has become his
friends back since 1997. This is
his first time participating in
ThinkQuest and has been finding
himself full of fun while doing
it. "Last year I was too
late to participate, and now,
fortunately, I'm not
anymore." He is the main
designer for the site.
Ashutosh
Mohan
India
Ashutosh aka Gavril, is a
15-year old lad from southern
tip of India, in the bustling
province of Tamil Nadu. Even
he's taking the job as a
programmer in this site, he's
into music. He plays many
musical instruments, and some of
them are piano and guitar. He
plays very well, and have
performed in the local radio of
his town. He is determined to
have music as his career. He
studies in Kamlavati Higher
Secondary School in 9th year.
This is his first time in
ThinkQuest.
Chee
Juin Ching
Malaysia
This 18-year old girl from
Malaysia is attending A-Level
course in Kolej Damansara Utama
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Being
the only girl in the team, she
got the task as the main
researcher and writer. Big
amount of the articles in this
site were written by her. In
fact, she is a good researcher!
In the time of doing the
project, she has to be absent
for 2 months (May & June) in
her preparation for final
examination. This ThinkQuest
project is the first and the
last involvement as a student
for her ever. Be a coach next
year, CJ?
Debangsu
Sengupta (coach)
India
Being the one and only coach
in the team, Debangsu is a
highly experienced person for
ThinkQuest. He has taken part in
ThinkQuest 1997 and 1998 which

the title "Discovering
China", won a Silver award.
Later on, just last year he

"I
think the team is doing an
excellent job... well-thought
layout and everything. I am
impressed. The team has put in a
lot of good work,"
