The Site: Learning objective
Simply put, the main learning objective of this site is to increase awareness of pollution. This objective has been leading our conceptualization of the development of the site. All walks of life, including students, researchers, professionals, and environment enthusiasts are welcome to the site. To support that concept, we provided adequate information about the basic mechanism of pollution and all the consequences. We are not trying to provide information about pollution as complete as possible, instead we are trying to engage netizens (internet citizens) to principally and philosophically discuss and ask themselves about this problem and effectively and efficiently take actions towards overcoming it. For students, we hope this site can give the necessary basic answers and also generate questions about the problem. Supporting multimedia and interactivities have also been provided to improve the quality of the site in making the most of out of internet technology.
