This site was made in the year 2001 by Yi-Tao, Joe
and Peng for the ThinkQuest Internet Challenge. The ThinkQuest Internet
Challenge is a global website building contest. Each year, participants
must can form a team and join. The team must then pick an academic
topic and do a website on the topic. Judges then grade the entries
and give out prizes. For more information on ThinkQuest, go to the

The objective of this site is to teach people about Napoleon. This
site not only tells about Napoleon's life, but also the reasons
behind his actions. We want to help people understand the importance
of Napoleon and the effects his actions had on the world. This site
seeks to tell people about the achievements and consequences Napoleon
brought to France and the world.
Viewers of the site can contribute their knowledge, comments, and
suggests to help us further improve this site.

Main Task: Editor of Site, Research on Improvement of Site and Citations
This past year was my Junior year in high school and a really busy
one. Aside from Thinkquest I have been taking AP classes, volunteering
through the California Scholarship Federation, and looking at colleges.
My main contribution to this site was in support, research, editorial
duties, and citations. I did a lot of running around.
In my free time, I enjoy playing, tennis, basketball, piano, and
guitar.
I would also like to thank Yi-Tao and Peng for all their hard work
and for all their enthusiasm. I would also like to thank our coach
who gave us the opportunity and support to do this.

Main Task: Research for information on Napoleon
My name is Peng Huang. I am a full time student at La Jolla High
School. I am in the 11th grade. I live in San Diego. I am currently
a member of this ThinkQuest team.
I'd like to thank my teammates who have helped make this site possible.
We all worked really hard on the site. I would also like to thank
Mr. Teachworth for the advice he gave last year that helped us improve
this site for the entry.

Main Task: Site Designer, Maker, and Modifier
I was born in China and I came here in 1990 when I was 6 years
old. I also go to La Jolla High School. I like working with computers,
so participating in this competition has been fun for me. I'm the
team member that does everything concerned with the actual look
of the site; I work with all the HTML, Javascript, CGI, and scripts
that go into the site.
I'd like to thank my team members who have helped me look up information
on Napoleon and get references for the site. The site couldn't have
been possible without their help. I would also like to thank Mr.
Teachworth for his coaching and advice.
