Avergae acceleration can be defined as he change in velocity over
time. It can be calculated from a velocity time graph. To do so,
you must calculate the slope of a velocity-time graph they same way
you would calculate the sloep of any other graph discussed in the
site.

Velocity time graphs can also be used to measure
the average velocity. This can be done through the following
equation:

The average velocity has the same vale as the
instantaneous velocity at the mid-time point for constant
acceleration. (this formula will only work if the graph shows a
straigt line (uniform acceleration)
