It is important to use contrasting colors on dark backgrounds. Choosing colors should be your largest concern. THIS COLOR IS HAS TOO MUCH OF A CONTRAST, AND IS ALMOST HYPNOTIZING. THIS COLOR IS WORSE. If you want a user's attention, use a bright but not too bright color. This orange color is a perfect alternative. Don't change colors too much , unless of course you're using it as an example of what not to do (like what we did above). Another thing you may have noticed above is our change to caps and then back to lower-case. This is not suggested, just stick to lower-case. It might get people's attentions, but causes more a nuisance then its worth. This text is too small. This text is too big. This is too bold. Only use this for single words or short phrases, because if you don't, you'll have to make things stand out by making them thinner, which most people aren't used. This text is too close together. This text is too spread out. |
