Have you met a situation where by you really need some information and you find that you haven't satisfied your curiosity? May be looking for something more and don't know where to begin?
Well! You aren't the first, for inquiring minds nothing seems enough until it really is enough. When creating this site we kept in mind the thirst for knowledge. We wanted to bring everything to the key reach to satisfy the searcher. Of course nothing is perfect and that is why we have included in our site other links that we found helpful.

Our objective!
To create a site that will serve as a motivating factor to increase environmental awareness in young minds and to satisfy the never ending desire for knowledge on its different aspects.
To cover this we have introduced links to:

  • news letters that will keep you updated on what is going on as it goes on.

What we have tried to accomplish:
As technology advances the whole world advances with it. We have tried to use this techology to bring and put side by side the perharps most challenging subjects, Technology and Environment, to create something that will educate the new generation.
For those who think, "This is not our problem but the coming generation's." Are wrong! The coming generation is none elese but our own children and their children and their children's children, so it is in one way or the other our problem too."

Why we suggested this name:
We suggested the name "The Earth a Battle ground!" because we were trying to create a scene, in part that of man trying to survive and in order to do so he fights his environment, persevering the harsh winter, the storms, thirst, drought etc. And in the other most important side that of the wild animals, birds and fish, who are less capable to fight than man. Who suddenly find themselves in double trouble: To fight their environment as well as cope with mans irresponsible behaviour. And each man and animals as well as plants play an important part in the others survival, so that as the battle continues is an empty victory. At the end of the scene we demonstrate that, "If man were to destroy the entire wild animal and plant world, he too would perish."

Why we chose this cartegory:
Environment is a science and occurs in almost or every science field,viz, biology, chemistry and physics. But we felt that it is better to keep it under Social science, because environment is more related to social life. Think of a community and what sorrounds each of its people. There is a strong relation between environment and man. And his environment determines his social welfare. Therefore we found it sound if placed as a social science rather than science. Although envirironment studies are more to science, we found the term science strong to be applied on environment.

Features of this site! And  its layout:
According to our personal experience learning the environment is not always captivating to every mind. And infact when environment is the subject in discussion, collecting garbage is the first sollution in mind. Its true that some times the subject could be boring. We have tried however to balance the information in our site in order to approach the reader in an interesting way.
The information is categorized into two:

  • Educational: This is further divided into four categories, these are separated but interdependent and non is complete in its own.
  • Time outs: We have also tried to keep environmental humours in away far from the school textbook  lingo!
