After the middle age until 1780
For centuries and through the whole middle qage the geocentrical system
was taken to be true. In the middle age astronomy was at ist worst point
in history. The church dictated, the the earth was the seat of God and
for that reason the earth had to be the center of the universe. In was
only in the modern times when the church lost ist powers and the geocentrical
system was overthought.
At that time the heliocentrical system was proven by means of matematic
calculations. The invention of the telescope helped to dicover more and
more comets and to watch the planets, that were known at that time.

In the last 2,5 centuries three new planets in our solar system were
found: The known part of our solar system has enlargened a lot with that.
Now scientists wonder whether there are other solar systems where planetary
systems and with them life could have developed.
