PROSTHETIC PARTS
Currently, many prosthetic organs are not fit for usage for a long period of time. Instead, they are used before a patient gets the transplanted organ.

Arteries - prosthetic arteries are needed when they are damaged by disease or trauma

Blood - with the population rising and the blood donation waning, the need for artificial blood is on the rise.

Ears - as the body ages, so does the body's ability to hear. Prosthetic ears such as hearing aids help the impairment.

Eyes - right now prosthetic eyes are for aesthetic purposes, however, soon they may be able to restore vision!

Heart - scientists are studying the new AbioCor heart after years of no progress in prosthetic hearts because of past failure.

Heart Vessel - because they regulate 12,000 miles of arteries, veins, and capillaries, heart vessels are extremely important. When they are disease, they need a replacement and why not a prosthetic one?

Kidney - the artificial kidney is very well developed because it uses a dialysis machine. The process is very effective in cleaning the blood.

Liver - the liver is still too complex for scientists to build, however ideas are forming.

Lungs - like the liver, the lungs are too complex for an actual permanent.

Nose - because the nose is the center of the face, the loss of a nose is a major loss of the face. To make up for this loss, noses are made with the same.

Skin - after a severe burn in which much skin is damaged, prosthetic skin can be a large help in protecting the exposed flesh.

Teeth - what is one of the most common prosthesis? False teeth! False teeth have been around for a long time and the elder population can take advantage of the convenience of dentures.

Voice Box - with no voice, it is difficult to communicate with others. However, with new technology, people without a larynx can have the ability to talk.
