ANIMALS
Animals can be born with genetic defects just like humans that would cause a loss of limb. Others may also loose a limb from amputation just like a human would. Either way, the animal must learn to adapt to it's loss, or if the animal is domesticated, it may receive a prosthetic device.

Regeneration - After a removal of certain body parts, certain animals have the ability to grow the part back! Imagine if a leg of an amputated calf would spontaneously grow it back! Too bad that doesn't happen.
