Scientists today
still don’t have a clear-cut and concise definition for intelligence. However,
most perceive intelligence as "our ability to utilize what we know, perceive,
and foresee to find adequate solutions to problems." Yet, is intelligence only
about problem solving? What about people who possess exceptional talent in art
or music? Wasn’t Mozart considered a child prodigy and genius? Intelligence is
evident in many different forms which makes it so difficult to define and causes
much debate among scientists. We continue to build faster computers and live
longer but what it is that allows us to accomplish these feats is still one of
the greatest mysteries that rattles the human brain.
