Frequently Asked Questions

Top of Page
Bottom of Page

If you have a question, and it is not answered here (as most aren't), then you can take it upon yourself to send us feedback, and we'll either address the issue, add the question to this list, or send you a response. Also, if you want to, post in the discussion forum.

Q: What are those 4 Buttons in the diamond shape at the top right of every page.
A: All content pages have 4 buttons, a top, a bottom, a previous, and a next. All other pages only have 2, the top and bottom links. These signify for you to go to the next page, previous page, top of page, or bottom of page. These are the exact same links as the ones on the bottom of every page, below the back to top button, there is a previous button in red, and one for the next page.

Q: What are the two buttons at the bottom of every page that say "Email this page to a friend" and "Bookmark This Page?"
A: These two buttons are for remembering pages. The first one, for e-mailing, is a standard button that allows you to e-mail any page on the site to an email address. This button does not require you to have an e-mail address, and when done, will take you back to the page your currently on. The second button, Bookmark This Page, requires an account. You probably want one if your wondering what these buttons do.

Q: What does having an account get me?
A: Having access to an account allows you to transfer notes, comments, dreams, essays, scores, dominances, options, and bookmarks over from computer to computer, or just to save them on your computer. Accounts are absolutely free, and also fill out forms automatically for you. Maybe you should get one.

Q: I have a problem with the site's so & so...
A: If you have a question, and it is not answered here (as most aren't), then you can take it upon yourself to send us feedback, and we'll either address the issue, add the question to this list, or send you a response. Also, if you want to, post in the discussion forum.

Q: What is that bar below every blue content box?
A: That bar is called the quote bar. You can turn it off (if it gets annoying) by click on the X with a circle around it. This removes it from being viewed on your computer only. You can turn it back on by going to Config My T.B.E. on your side menu. For those of you who would rather have the quote bar on the side menu, or on both, you can also configure that.

Q: My question isn't answered here...
A: These are all of the questions that came up during testing. Most users had a very easy time finding everything, and working with everything. We worked very hard on making that possible. Actually, you can get to any single page in this entire site in less than 2 clicks. And even more, there are more than 2 ways to get to every single page in under 3 clicks. Imagine that. We go for usability for the average user, not a bandwidth hogging graphics divine site that doesn't teach much. See how much better you have it now. :-) And anyway, you can always e-mail us, or post in the discussion board.
