Friends
Friends are important to
remember. Sharing traditions and remembering each other's birthdays are ways
to enrich friendships by creating mutual memories.
Yet often one will remain in contact with few, if any, high school classmates
despite good intentions. There are many traditional ways we can remember our
friends.

When too many separate memories are made without being shared, friends may grow further apart or sense a distancing or lessening of their friendship. |

| Sharing a "song"
may become a close bond, reminding you of your special friend. |
Once the memory is formed, every time you hear that song for the rest of your life, you will probably think of that friend. | You will also probably
remember the occasion when it first became "Our Song" for you. |
| At the end of the school year in the U.S., many friends sign each other's yearbooks with a short personal note. |
