Genetic Memory
How do you know to rest when you are tired? How do you know to eat when you are hungry or drink when you are thirsty? These instinctive behaviors that we take for granted have been carried down to us biologically for generations.
Through evolution, our genes
carry important information to be remembered for survival. Our instincts are
also part of memory, a memory passed on to us at birth. This genetic information
is passed down through our DNA
(deoxyribonucleic
acid).
Animals also have genetic memory.
