I'm Giacomo -James to my friends, Jack to my parents and 2 brothers,

I'm here because of my passion for PCs and the Internet - to realize a high quality web site by cooperating with people from different parts of the world
...so I met Emilie (the team manager) and Michael! I worked on the graphics and the html code part of the site, including original artwork as well as problems connected with visualization or browsing.

Other passions/hobbies (besides computers)

• reading books
• walking in the mountains / mountain climbing
• sports, specially swimming and body-building
• going out & meeting friends; having fun...
  

Going to school doesn't leave me much free time:
I'm in my last year in a High School in Como, Italy, even though I live in Switzerland, in the south of this beautiful country! In fact, I live very close to the border between these two countries, so don't have to spend more than 30-40 minutes to get to school. Next year when I'm going to be attending the
university, to study programming or something related to the pc and Internet, it will be further away!

My Memory
Of course, I really don't have a good memory...so this contest also helped me to discover tips and tricks and to understand the memory process...

What I generally do to study?

• To memorize things, I associate images with keywords
• To learn from textbooks, I read once through the text and underline the most important passages, then I read this one more time after the underlining ... this works!
• Notetaking: My notes are quite good, even if sometimes I'm a little lazy or I "sleep" during lessons!
