Solution of Triangle (Sine)
|
Solution of Triangle (Sine) The Sine Rule is used to solve any problems involving triangles when at least either of the following is known: a) two angles and a side
b) two sides and an angle opposite a given side
Example 1 (Given two angles and a side)
=
82°
![]() ÐC =
82°, b = 4.94cm & c = 7.78cm
Example 2 (Given two sides and an acute angle)
ÐC = 56°, ÐB
= 59° and c = 14.47cm
Example 3 (Given two sides and an obtuse angle)
ÐB = 39.8°, ÐC
= 40.2° & c = 5.05cm
