American Free Enterprise and you!

The United States economy operates under something called the American free enterprise system, which enables ordinary people to become entrepreneurs. The American Free Enterprise System is sometimes referred to as the free market system. Whichever way you call it, it is the system that offers something Americans value very much: personal freedom. Americans can basically run any type of business they are interested in pursuing (as long as it is legal) and will not be burdened by government intervention or regulation. People basically use the ways of supply and demand to cater their product to the citizens. This accounts for much of the diversity within America we see around us every single day of our lives. Free Enterprise is an essential part of the American way of life. The impact of entrepreneurship is seen in the world around us, as we know it today. Everything we see, everything we touch, everything we hear, everything we sense has been brought to you through the efforts of an entrepreneur. From the clothes we put on mindlessly everyday, to the computers we use to decode DNA… that is the successful work of an individual with a vision, a dream, an idea. An entrepreneur is someone who is "willing to take personal and financial risks to create a business out of a perceived opportunity." (And with the right idea, the right mind-set, and this awesome site, you TOO can be an entrepreneur!)
