Arturo Mayegas

Self-taught painter that reflects the soul of captive trees and faces of characters which are wounded at an Inca or Maya environment, using lines that tend to allegorize granting its work a symbolic distinction. His wall paintings, remind us of Miró, but forgetting the conventional forms and the precise trace. This artist captures colors, and creates images that are always seeking after other images, but which are independent due to their own delimitation.
