Soaring

Back Up Next

What would it be like to soar?
To sit back and let the wind take you,
to have no control over where you have been
or where you are going,
but to just go on with the flow.

The ride is pretty smooth isn't it?
The flow of speed and energy encompasses all around you,
and their seems to be nothing that could hold you back...

Look ahead though for their seems to be something in your path!
Its a deviation from the road and there's no way to stop,
what would come to one's thoughts at a moment like this?
What would happen next?- there's a blur of your life.

Its almost here, and there's nothing to do,
except to hold on tight, clutch your first,
close your eyes and hope for the best...

The impact is coming, here you go,
brace yourself for the collision ahead...
Five seconds away and closer, and closer, and...

BOOM! You break through,
Unhurt and unharmed,
you slow to a stop and get out of your ride,
realizing next time that your trip may not be in your dreams.
