Kikimora

Some say that she was Domovoi's wife. Her role differed from area to area. According to some, she only looked after the poultry. Others believe that she helped the woman of the house with her daily tasks she had to perform, but only if she did her part. A lazy woman would normally be irritated and pestered by the Kikimora. There was only one way to win back the favor of the Kikimora. That was to make a fern-tea and to wash all the pots and pans in the kitchen with it.
