The wind

The bushmen believe that the wind was a person just like themselves until it grew wings so that it could fly. Why he sprouted these wings nobody knows. He was still a hunter but now he could seek his prey from the air. He loves this advantage and lives in a cave high in the mountains. When he comes down to look for prey we can feel him. Unfortunately he also has a very short temper. He throws a tantrum like an infant about the silliest things that bother him. While he rages strong, stormy winds work havoc on earth. When he calms down, so does the wind.
