Muscles injury is a very common thing among each and every commoner, but it is more frequent for people who didn't take care of themselves or people who didn't do their warm up. There are many type of muscles injuries, since there are hundreds of different muscles, so it is quite impossible to mention all of them. Below are a few examples of muscles injuries:

*Apophysitis - inflammation of the apophysis of the ilium.
*Bursitis Trochanteric Bursitis - inflamed bursa on the lateral greater trochnater, especially in runners
*Hip Pointer - iliac crest contusion.
*Iliotibial Band Syndrome - inflammation of the iliotibial band at its insertion on the lateral hip. Occurs most often in runners and cyclists
*Myositis Ossificans - ectopic calcification within a muscle. Occurs most often to the thigh muscle in contact sports like football.
*Osteitis Pubis - inflammation of the pubic symphysis due to repeated stress of the muscles pulling on the area. Occurs most often in runners, soccer, football and wrestling
*Piriformis Syndrome - spasm of the piriformis muscle(located on the posterior hip) compresses the sciatic nerve producing radiating pain down the leg.
*Quadriceps Contusion - crushing of the thigh muscles against the femur.
*Sacroiliitis - inflammation of the sacroliliac joint caused by direct blow to the joint.
*Stress Fracture - a hairline fracture of the lining of the femur. Relatively uncommon, possibly caused by overuse or increased mileage in runners.

What causes injury?
It could either be over-training. e.g. a stress fracture of tibia. It could be also a traumatic injury. e.g. A fractured wrist during a fall. Lack of proper stretching exercises before or even after a hard workout. Without a proper warm up, the muscles will be tense and an immediate hard workout will cause a sudden 'jerk' in the muscles, this results in muscles injuries.
Many of us did not know that muscles injuries is more common for people who didn't exercise regularly than people who exercise regularly! This is because the muscles of those who didn't excercise regularly are more relunctant to move. So it is better to move your muscles before they turn rusty. :)

MUSCLES ALIMENTS

Unfortunately, everyone will injure himself some time or another. However, some people tend to have less injuries than others. Their probable motto is usually: Prevention is better than cure. Hence, the aliments of muscles is to prevent having one!

Prevention through skill
Skill is of great importance. Skill involves the physical and mental ability to reduce injuries. Thus one should know when to rest, and when he is at the risk of injury. A fatigued person is also more prone to injuries.

Prevention through Fitness
Increased fitness reduces the risk of injury in 2 ways, (1)its effect on the muscles and (2)increased in general endurance.
1. Muscles become stonger if they work. Therefore a strong muscle is less prone to become injured during a heavy workout.
2. This involves both muscular endurance and cardio-respiratory endurance. This should prevent fatigue. Fatigue makes a person prone to diseases and injuries.

Prevention through nutrition
It is important to eat a well balanced diet. Carbohydrates are important for the replenishing of energy and helps prevent fatigue. One should eat something easily digestibale and high in energy about 2 and a half hours to 4 hours before training or competition.

Prevention through warm-up
Warm up is important because Muscles and tendons are stretched Body is heated Athletes are stimulated mentally and physically Start at the head and work down to the toes.
