The slaves suffered all the mistreatments and imaginable humiliations, even so, in this scenery of barbarism, black woman was a victim more massacred by the master's lust.
Besides the heavy work, frequently the woman slave was forced to assist sexually the master. After the humiliation of giving her body to the desires of the master, they still suffered with the anger of the master's wife, that cut them the beaks of the breasts, the buttocks or the face. They were whipped or marked in ember to liven up the jealousies of the master's wife.The black worked in the land and more frequently in the big house, where they were used in the domestic services and also as "owner of milk (feeding the children with her milk)" for her master's children.
When the urbanization began in Brazil, the blacks sold products in the streets for their masters. They were also offered as prostitutes,and in the end of the day they presented the revenues. Some master gave a small portion of revenue to the these black ones, that kept this quantity in the hope of buying her freedom in a distant future.
In Brazil today, besides the color of the skin, the black has to win the barrier of the prejudice with relationship to the sex. The black woman has been hindering her entrance in the labor market because of the racism and of the machismo of a society that inherited the rootses of the intolerance of the past. .
