The blacks left and they preserve a rich cultural inheritance. Until today they preserve habits, traditions and rituals, that were brought of Africa and maintained by the slaves. That culture is marked in the life of the Brazilian people, that has more than 50% of blacks in its ethnic constitution. The dances and parties, the religion and even the cookery they are examples of the cultural inheritance that is still reminded after so much time. That demonstrates the black resisted to the culture imposed by the white ruler.
