A Literacy Phenomenon
Harry Potter is a literacy phenomenon sweeping the nation. There hasn't been any other book like it since the King Arthur series. We had a lot of electronic crazes like, the television, VCR, video , audio, Play-Station and Game-Boy. It is so nice to see children reading a 734 page novel full of adventure, suspense, and mystery.
There is a way to prove that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire is one of the best books ever, the line at the midnight Barnes and Noble Party! It started outside the front door to the very back and then in and out of the aisles, and back through door, again. This summer the kids aren't out playing on swings, they are inside reading about the famous Harry Potter.
The Harry Potter books are so popular that the stores can't keep them on the shelves at $20 each.
