What is it?
Uri Gellar is
undoubtedly the most famous psychic in the world. He has been able to
bend spoons on his command, and that is not his most powerful skill. He
can even make machinery go haywire just by being around them, and can
stop a ship’s engine just by the power of thought alone. He can mend
clocks with just a stroke; can reproduce thoughts on drawing paper etc.
Perhaps his most exciting ability is being able to exert this power and
influence other seemingly normal people with a similar power. He can
make children have the power to twist and bend metal too, and these
children are called Gellerini.
Uri Gellar’s power may be the envy of many, but the repeated question is, “What does it mean?” It has been found that people inspired by Geller have developed healing powers, which could be a very useful thing to have. Skeptics have criticized Uri Geller as a person who used magic tricks for his performances, but this is flimsy. Uri Geller’s metal-bending powers continue even without his presence. Keys that he bend keep bending after he has left the room, and it looks as if Uri isn’t in contact with the keys again.
Today, this world-renowned psychic no longer has to perform to earn his living. He helps miners find areas to mine, in which always has a substantial amount of resources. Shedding a little sinister light on this subject, Uri Geller has said, “Just imagine if you had 15 or so trained minds like mine…”
What could it be?
This could be a real case of eerie powers being manifested in a
person. Uri Geller’s previous partner, Dr Puharich, claimed that Uri
Geller was bestowed upon this power when he was young by
extraterrestrials. However, Uri soon broke this relationship up, and the
issue about these space beings is no longer mentioned by anyone.
Uri Geller’s power is an exciting and one to be envied. However, this power could be put to misuse, and create a lot of trouble. It is a good thing that Uri doesn’t use his powers for evil. Could he be faking it, as some people have supposedly claimed to witness.
