Ghosts of the Royal Family

What is it?

Britain’s many famous monarchs’ ghosts have been seen very often. Henry VIII haunts the deanery, Elizabeth I haunts the library, Charles I haunts the Canon’s house, George III haunts the area in which he was restricted during his mad days. George II is sometimes seen staring at the wind vane.

Anne Boleyn’s ghost has been reported to be seen at many places. A brightly illuminated, floating version of her ghost is seen on Tower Hill, she was imprisoned in the Tower of London before her execution. Each year, on the anniversary of her execution, she appears at Blickling Hall in Norfolk where she lived as a child. Other apparitions in the Tower are Henry VI, Edward V and his brother, and Lady Jane Grey.

A more recent member of the Britain’s royal ghostly family is George VI. He is also seen sometimes. All these ghosts have appeared one time or another, what could they mean?

What could it be?

This could be the old memories of the royal family lingering in Britain looking after the well-being of the country. But no one can be sure about ghosts.

Scientific explanations

Currently, science has very little evidence for these ghosts. They have hypothesized that brutal killings will release the brain’s energy, which appears as these ghosts. But this cannot be proven as yet.

Conclusion

Ghosts have very often been seen as terrorizing beings, but the royal ghostly family has not brought much trouble. This means that we should try to see ghosts in a different light, and ghost could very well exist.
